Our consortium has held a kick-off meeting of the CALL4SMS project, which is in the framework of the EIT Urban Mobility partnership.
The objective of the CALL4SMS project is to design and develop a common methodology and platform for the urban environment testing of connected and automated smart mobility solutions, which enables to compare the performance in different environments (western small city – Helmond; Central megapolis – Milano, Munich; Eastern rural city – Zalaegerszeg; Southern mid-size city – Vigo) of the European Union.
To accomplish this, the following European universities are members of the CALL4SMS consortium: University of Technology and Economics of Budapest, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and the Eindhoven University of Technology, together with industry partners such as Skoda and ZONE Cluster and the research institute, CTAG from Spain.
The partners present started the implementation of the project and discussed the detailed tasks of the different partners. Furthermore, they also agreed on the communication activities of the project and completed the initial administrative tasks which are vital for the project.
